Ethical Lending Policy

This is one for those of you in the UK. You may not realise it but the Co-op has been one of the biggest providers of financial services for many years - remember when they used to collect the premiums door to door from the policyholders' homes? Well they are now competing with the other online providers and to the Co-op, green is not this year's shade of loans. This is reassuring for all customers: when you deal with this bank you are safe in the knowledge that the money they borrow has not come from the profits of unnecessary pollution or human rights abuses. If you ring your existing bank can they give the same assurance?
