Reciprocal Linking Tips (Part 1)

Once you have an established website you will start to get requests from other webmasters asking you to exchange reciprocal links with them. Nothing wrong with that - all good internet marketers will tell you that is a standard SEO method, to seek relevant links within your niche.
But a lot of these emails originate from irrelevant sites, and are not what they seem. Here are some tell-tale signs to look out for:

- automated emails or emails originating from a spammy looking email address

- frequent follow up reminders (automated)

- uncategorised link pages
